About Me
Thank you for visiting my website! My name is Stephen DeCaluwe, and I have played many roles on sports broadcasts and television shows, both local and national, for several years.
I graduated from Loyola University Chicago in December 2019 Magna Cum Laude, with a double major in film/digital media and history. While at Loyola, I was privileged enough to explore a number of opportunities in the world of production, primarily from my work with the Loyola University ESPN production crew, as well as the Pritzker Military Museum and Library and Loyola News Chicago. Since graduation, I have been fortunate enough to continue that career in my post-school days, at Northwestern University's Athletic Department.
Ultimately, I believe I am in this business to tell stories. Whether it be the dramatic final shot of a basketball game, a deep dive into a historical event, or a local news story that becomes a national fervor, I believe there is no narrative that excellent production cannot help enhance. I hope that passion and enthusiasm is highlighted as you continue to explore my website.
Spring 2020
Northwestern Athletics Advanced Internship
Over the past several months I have had the privilege of creating and both in-house and streaming content for Northwestern University, from short player videos to video streams for the Big Ten Network.

Loyola University Chicago Production Crew
For the past four years I have been a consistent member of the Loyola University Chicago Production Crew, helping to produce broadcasts for ESPN, NBCSports, and other streaming services in a variety of roles.
Summer 2019
Pritzker Military Museum and Library
With the Pritzker Military Museum and Library, I helped to produce a variety of content, from the nationally-broadcast "Pritzker Military Presents" to videos for the museum itself.
Spring 2019
Director, Loyola News Chicago
In the spring of 2019 I was fortunate to serve as the director of Loyola News Chicago. In this role I helped to produce a weekly 20-30 minute live newscast which addressed local and nationally relevant storylines for the Loyola community.
